FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, OCT. 7, 2011:

FISHING BAG LIMITS UNLIMITED AS SUMNER LAKE IS DRAINED

FORT SUMNER –Anglers at Sumner Lake can catch and keep as many sport fish as they like beginning today as the lake is being drained to accommodate downstream irrigation demands.

Bag limits will be unlimited for sport fish. Requirements for fishing licenses and rules regarding legal methods of taking fish remain in effect.
