Financial Specialist for the Wildlife Management Division

Purchasing, procurement, contracts, budget reconciliation, customer
service, and anything else my boss asks of me!
Education:
Six hours in accounting and working towards an Associates in
Business Administration at Santa Fe Community College, but I'm
interested in possibly pursuing a wildlife biology degree!
Length of Service:
2 years and 8 months.
Specialty or Interest:
Boating, camping, swimming, hiking, and just spending time with
my kids and family.
Current Projects/Assignments:
SHARE best describes it, paying bills, and Contracts, Contracts
and more Contracts. I just returned from catching Desert Bighorn
Sheep at Red Rock. Daily I am asked by the boss to produce miracles
or solve un-solvable problems.
Best Thing About the Job:
I get out of the office occasionally and do some field work,
I work with the GREATEST people, and I have a variety of job duties
so I'm NEVER, EVER bored.

Other Important Information:
I worked at one other state agency (DOT) for my first 4 years
with state government. The very best agency to work for
is Game and Fish! Hopefully I can spend the remaining 19 years
of my career in state government here!
